So me and my friend visit my lfs (the one I'm going to work in this summer) and they got a new shipment of.....CROWTAIL BETTAS, which isn't unusually in that store, BUT THEY WERE BEUATIFUL. There were reds with black-lined fins, and one absolutly STUNNING male crowntail, he was a very deep blue with red-outlined fins and a wash of turquiose over his top fin....WOW
Hrmpff...I left without him -_- :(  My mom would of KILLED me if I brought home yet another betta, and I don't want to make her mad when she comes back from her trip :/
So then we went to Walmart, they just got a new shipment of bettas in, everybody was looking good and no sick/dead bettas, but thats probably just because they just got them in. They had so many that some where in tanks, mostly with livebearers. The ones in the tanks didn't have any teared fins, and they seemed to get along with the other fish. So thats good. I saw about 5 that were just awesome...they had so much personality and "WOW" color. These were the ones that were in the tanks. They seemed to enjoy being in a larger area instead of the cups (who wouldn't?). So I guess I was over-all pleased with the bettas. It took so much strength not to walk out with one...or five...or all of them
Oh yah, and when I was at my LFS I ordered in a 10 gallon divider (plexiglass) so it should be in soon...I'm dividing a small space (2-3 gallons) for one of my bettas in my 10 gallon.

You know you have a problem when you wish your guppies would die so you could divide their tank for more bettas. :shifty:  :*)
