well i have just finished filling the tank :hyper: so im now the happy owner of some salty water :crazy: the lighting is en route from first stop aquatics along with the sand and fingers crossed i will be getting the LR next week :hyper: pics to follow arrival of sand lol

Keep us informed about progress.

I would have put the sand before the water, but no real damage just expect some cloudy water, and also remember to rinse the sand thoroughly first.

Have you got your powerheads/skimmer?
 
Congrats! Its always exciting starting up a new tank.
 
seio M620 powerhead and hopefully the water will clear after a day or two. anything i can be doing in the time between now and then?

all good then actually a special thanks to SkiFletch he has been a huge help to me.
 
lighting arrived today and i am expecting sand tomorro or monday working on pics
 
righty off to get the lr and some more sand tomorrro but is there anything special i have to do with the live rock or throw it in and put sand around it. thanks james
