well its up to the person buying it if they would pay that much I definately wouldnt I could buy 6-7 of them for that price
would have to see it from above but the japanese ranchu is bred differently to the chinese type. the chinese type is what is commonly exported around the world and the japanese is rarer.
the way to tell for me is from a top view, the head is blunt at the front whereas the chinese one is more rounded.
from what i can see its a chinese, but its hard to tell from that angle.
dont know if a japanese is worth that much but if it is rare then it could be right, but its value is only what a person is willing to pay for it.
