had a look on the bristol shubunkin site for this fish to able find out more abt them but cant find any kind of fish as it very similar to wakin but the top fins is different so could this be wakin or no? as seem cant figure out what kind of fish it is...............

have included pics

looks like a wakin/common cross to me

Little mal-formed but yeah it looks like one. Wakin is just a common goldfish with a fan tail. This one has a odd hump and the dorsal fin that looks like a pectral fin. I'd guess this was a fedder fish spawn out that mutated on their own out there.

Those are really ugly cross breeds. Wakin look like goldfish as already said with double tail. Those look like ranchu cross goldfish.

hi thank for reply i i know it crazy as it so confusing but when i bought these fishs there were many other like it too......... not just these 2 fishs....................

defo not ranchu as the body shape is different.

hope something turn up or not

Its definately a hybrid goldfish, most likely common goldfish crossed with a fancy goldfish type like a ryukin or wakin.

It's not a Hybrid (people like to use that term alot these days :D ) since all goldfish "types" are mutation from the original olive green/brown thing. Now to me this goldfish was a "cull" that was saved (should've ended up in some belly of a fish). It's malformed dorsal is nothing more than poor breeding and a mutation, which has no particular type or place to fall in. I recon it's just a natural mutation and not selective breeding (also known as Mother Nature's Kitchen).

As for "Hybrid" is like the so called "Flowerhorn", "Bloody Parrots" and likes.
