Diseases Of Bettas

yeah! my betta had SBD and he recovered from it in 2 weeks! he got it from being in a cup at a bad store. it's almost a month later and he is still doing just fine.
another cause for swim bladder is being cupped 2 young b4 they have a chance to developpe and my guy he just layed on the bottom and it was really awful to c him try to swim to the top to get air.

where on earth do u get such different bettas..... all the ones i ever c r veiltails maybe a hm and once upon a time i saw a crowntail

Thanx for the info! I guess I have to be patient and let nature take its course.

As to where I found the crowntails - there are 4 Petland Discount stores I know of, two of them hardly carry any bettas, the one near me carries only veiltails (I missed getting a chocolate one - it was sold the next day, the day I got Bulldog) Then there is one downtown near the chess club I go to - they mostly have crowntails, very few veiltails. Good luck in your search!
