Is This Tank Okay?

i have 2 tanks one hold 49.8 gallons and in inchers 24 by 24 by 24 and is square shaped the other tank holds 43.6 gallons and is 48 long by 14 wide and by 18 high i moved the Pictus Catfish from the rectangle one and in to the square one it dose not have any fish in there other then 2 sword tails cuz i want the catfish to grew big any coments on all this the tank is big anuth right?

2'x2'x2' is not big enough IMO, the other tank would be better.

2ft isn't long enough for theses highly active fish.

i would have thort a 49 gallon would be better then a 43 gallon???

It's not just about volume unfortunately. These fish will become stressed if they don't have the actual space (length) to swim. They are primarily bottom swimmers so the top volume of water means nothing to them. 2ft if without a doubt too small.
