Hope someone can anser ( this tank is a right pain in the bum, but im sticking to it)

The best way would be to get the unit level. It may mean using some plywood or similar but not softwood under one end (the whole end) of the cabinet.

Much safer to level the cabinet.

Have you ripped up the polystyrene ?, if its just at the edges the best thing to cut it with is a stanley knife to score it then keep scoring until almost through and snap it then. Blade needs to be very sharp.

Clearseal do do a sponge / foam pad to the size of popular tanks that is also an option, I have one under mine.

The clearseal matts are meant to cushion glass bottom tanks so they don't smash on grains of sand and stuff, i wouldn't use one for leveling. I would go with leveling the cabinet.

 that looks like a disaster waiting to happen!!!

level off the cabinet as suggested. or go with a floating base configuration if possible

I did not mean for levelling thats why I said to level the cabinet. If you look at the polystyrene it looks ripped up and in lots of little pieces. I thought he may have had trouble cutting it to size so suggested some alternative cushioning if the polystyrene was not working for him.

Probably the way I wrote it, but definately said to level the cabinet.

Yup i understood im going try get the foam stuff polystyrene is messy and easy to rip and bend , i will try level the unit its be really hard to left as i cant take the tank off now :(

things not going to plan already with this tank :( hope it stops soon

Best way to level the tank is to shim the tand at the corners which are the strongest points of the system
