Is This Red Platy Pregnant?

hi, i noticed this platy hiding in the gaps between some rocks and near a plant hiding. i don't know how long she has been like that. she came up for a little bit of food and then went straight back down to where she was before. i have other platy in my tank but i have never had one this colour before.

Yes, it's pregnant. It doesn't look particularly squared, so I'd say another 5-7 days. THat said, hiding at the bottom is classic "I'm about to pop" behaviour.

thanks for the info. it was just hard to tell as i couldn't see a gravid spot on her.she was just sat at the bottom doing nothing and like i said earlier she not eating much which is a sign she about to pop. she is in a breeding box at the mo as in the main tank my danio's keep chasing each other and disturbing her. and while he has been in there she keeps going backwards like she is pushing.
i had a platy give birth last week and she was not all that "squared off " and she had 15 fry.

Is it the first drops from each of these females?

with the one im asking questions about it is it's first drop, but my other female which is a pineapple platy she has had 3 drops.

how long do you think she till she pops the fry out?

ANywhere up to a week, I'd say.
