Is This Normal

i have noticed over the last few days that the red leg hermit in my tank is moving around less and less, he seems to stay in one area, if i dump a prawn in front of him he will eat it, if i walk past the tank he moves just as quick as ever when retracting into his shell, but he's just stopped roaming around, if i pick him up and place him in a different part of the tank, thats where he stays. any ideas??

Apathy or laziness, at least that's what I'm feeling today, if you picked me up and moved me I wouldn't bother struggling anywhere.

My hermits do this occasionally, have had a spell where 3 of them were permanently on my Reef plate for days and days. Then suddenly all gone, I think it's just if they find a spot with a bit of grub they are happy there. Has he molted recently?

its never molted once since i got it but thats just a couple of weeks ago really
