Hi all

i noticed 2 of my cory's keep sidling up to each other, swimming side by side and hovering in one place then they sort of wrap themselves around each other?,then start all over again!

Definately different behaviour from what they normally do!

Any ideas?

Hiya,
sounds like they are mating to me. When you noticed them behaving differently had you recently performed a water change? Apparantly the slight drop in water temperature can trigger the mating. The male and female dance around each other and end up in a 'T' position, the female then carries the eggs under her in a make-shift pouch created by her fins and deposits them on leaves, or the glass of the tank etc. Have you had any eggs in the tank before? (small yellow-ish white balls stuck to things?)
:)

They still doing it,they're now sorting of leaning over, but i havent seen them going into a 'T' has yet
