Hello everyone!!! I just started my planted tank and all I need left is lighting for my 29 gallon tank. The plants that needs high lighting in my tank are glosstigmas, tiger lillies and riccias. Do you guys think that my plants can flourish under this light? http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=CU01004. My tank is about 30in. long X 18.5in tall X 12.5in wide.

Its the second link you want to choose, the first light system is for a marine tank not a planted tank, the second system will give you just over 2 watts per gallon.

couldnt I change the First Fixture's bulb to plant growth bulb?

You would have to email the store in question to see if they would change the light tube to something more suitable for growing plants, ideally you want a tube of about 6500k

Do you think that a 65 watt light bulb with 6500+K will make my glosstigmas and tiger lilies flourish? 2.24 wpg is med to med high and glosstigmas and tiger lilies require high.

My hood is the second one, but the 48" duel bulb version...
The 6700k lights in it rock :)
My plants dig it! B)

....btw, mines a 50 gallon tank...
