Well hit me with it, Is this it for my copperband?
He is swimming almost perfect, He looks great the only thing is he's doing it upside down! I have only had this fish for about 2weeks and in that time he has been great he was eating the second day I put him in so I felt lucky! he is even picking off the rocks right now but he is upside down! he can't stay upright!! Any advise would be awsome Thank you.

After about 50hours swimming upside down I lost him. I loved that fish! I'm almost positive it got some kind of bladder disease. not sure what caused it or if it could of even been prevented. RIP.

most likely an issue with his swim bladder. maybe an internal fungus or something that ate away his insides (but please don't quote me on that because I know absolutly nothing about saltwater fish diseases). sorry for your loss

Sorry to hear that. Without a biopsy I guess you will not know the reasons why....

RIP lil fishy sorry to hear about that man, lot of people say they are just fish but after keeping them for so long you grow attached

Thanks guys. Yeah for some reason you do get attached... I doubt ill get another copperband for a while, mine ate mysis 12hours after he was put in the tank.and that is really rare for them. some people never get them to eat.and there not all that cheap.

i had 1 that died after 2 weeks, he was fine and eating. i just had to get another 1 as they are great fish, this new 1 i payed for and collected it a week later. i hoped that if there was a problem it would have showed itself within a week, this little fella is amazing have to say its the best fish i have ever had, so much character and he eats like a pig!

thought i pop a piccy of him on as he is mint

Great picture! Yeah I already want to get another but just haven't decided yet. They are def my fav so far.

One thing ive been noticing recently and this evening when i was down the LFS. Copperbands are becoming more available and eating frozen. I asked the guy in the shop, whats you tip for feeding. He goes just feed them and let them work it out lol. And it works! So tempted for one myself at only £20 but ill leave it and get some smaller fish.
