It's been 3 days and it wasn't getting worse, so assumed it was stress ich. There are more spots since yesterday.
This is a community tank and only 2 fish(betta and German Ram) have a lot of spots. Some just have 2-3 and some have none.
Wouldn't ich spread to all the fish by now?

If so how I do I treat this is in a fully planted community tank?

Also have Cory's, Hillstream Loach, and nerite snails.

*I have read that many have had great success with raising temp to 86 and doing frequent water changes, I would prefer to start here before considering medication.
I can move out the snails but have heard it's a risk with the Hillstream and heat. Could it work if I slowly raise the temp?

You need to upload a video to a video hosting site (eg YouTube) and post the link on here.

I first thought it was ich, but after taking a good look, the spots are too big to be white spot.
Your other post shows you have problem with the ram. Also, photos of the betta in the other post show that it’s sort of bloated.
Have you tested the water recently, what are the conditions?
Hopefully, this will give the post a BUMP and someone can tell what the spots are. A photo showing the whole tank also helps.

This is pretty zoomed in to get a good look, between epistylis and ich this very much looks like ich the spots look very very similar to other photos done in research.
I'm pretty sure I've dealt with stress ich before and eventually it went away but more spots occured over night with the betta and ram this time around, so I assumed likely ich.
The other fish either have none or barely any.
The betta is bloated as she ate all the bottom dwellers food the previous night, I also was told she was egg bound I know nothing about that But she does eat the others food unfortunately.

As for the Ram he did have some kind of abscess/ tumor issue, He had it for 3/4 months
He was acting normal and eating so I just let it go. But unfortunately I think because not only was that effecting him, this i am sure played a role and he did die last night.

All the other fish are acting normal I've raised the temperature 85 F. There's really mixed opinions online but I'm going to start with raised temperature before deciding to do medication. Quite a lot of people have gotten rid of it just by temp.
Since all medication stains and is somewhat controversial on scaleless fish I really don't want to take that risk if I don't have to.

Will test the water now

It looks like ich to me. On the 'Useful Links' section it explains the lifecycle of ich which should explain the way it spreads:

I can say that I have used the heat method -86c for two weeks- and confirm it works very well. But I don't know if the hillstreams will cope, sorry.
@Colin_T might know.
