Yes, that’s ich. Raise temp to 86F for 14 days. Vacuum substrate daily to pick up any parasites laying on substrate. I also do water changes every couple of days. Be patient, it takes some time to clear up. :)

How long have you had the fish for?
How long have it had the white marks for?
Can we get some more pictures showing the fish form both sides?
Have you added anything to the tank in the last 2 weeks?

It could be calcium deposits in the fin. Answering the above will provide us with more information and a better diagnosis.

Hi @Colin_T , I have had this fish for just under a year now. I have been so busy these days so i only noticed these yesterday morning. I did a 40% water change 3 days ago didn't notice it then (well was not paying attention much) . I haven't added anything to the tank in the last 2 months.

Is the fish rubbing on anything in the tank?
If not, then it is unlikely to be white spot.

White spot (ich/ ick) needs to be introduced into a tank. If you haven't added anything in 2 months, it's unlikely to be ich.

I would say it's just calcium growths in the fin. Nothing to be worried about and quite normal in some fish.

Just monitor it and if it changes, then post more pics, but don't worry too much about it. As long as the fish is eating well and the spots don't change, it's fine.

Thank you for your prompt reply @Colin_T . Its not rubbing against any thing. Perfectly healthy as far as i cam tell. Eating normally, going about his day as normal. This is a big relief. Thank you once again. I will keep you updated.
