Hi folks, so its been day 3 of running my salt water tank set up and the skimmer just broke in today YAY.
its a 38 gallon tank with a marineland pro 300 skimmer (I went overboard) LOL

Any ways I noticed this anemone yesterday and I have a weird feeling that it is an Aiptasia anemone (pest)
please confirm or let me know what it is... and what should I do about it?.... suggestions...( I have about 5 of them and counting)!!!!!
-Thank you in advance

Yeah aptasia

Ive never had much luck with aptasia x and if the rocks easy to get out of the tank

I find a soldering iron or a metal skewer heated up works better IMO :good:

Hay Bae,
thanks for the advice, I did use a soldering iron on the big ones on the rock, they are history!
but there are about a couple smaller ones that when you bring out the rock you can no longer find them as the close up and camouflage with the rock or go in there little hole
I am thinking of adding some peppermint shrimp to eat them?
is that a good idea?

Don't add any shrimp unless your tanks mature ( IMO 6months old ) and I know what you mean about them hiding aptasia x has killed some of mine I just found the soldering iron better but for cases like this try some aptasia x :good:
