Hey everyone, I’m new here. My betta fish Rose has what looks to be a fungal infection and I’m looking for advice. If I’m being totally honest I think it’s due to a lack of tank maintenance. It’s been tough lately and I’ve let it slip through the cracks, for which I’m totally responsible. For now I’ve moved her into a 1/2 gallon hospital tank which I’m doing daily water changes on and I’m treating her with Kanaplex and aquarium salt.
She has a cloudy substance around her fins and they’ve been rotting away a bit. Her water also smells terrible and I found a brown worm-like thing on the bottom of her hospital tank. I’ve attached some pictures below. Thank you in advance!
