Is This A Cae

I've had this guy about 18 monts now, he was the only one like it in the shop and i have never seen any others with this colouring,

am i right in thinking that he is a Chinese Algae Eater though ??

Any more photos of him? What about the mouth? Hard to say what it is. I was thinking Garra species but not certain without more photos.

Doesn't look like a CAE, more like a Garra or something. Have a look at the pictures of CAE's in the Fish Index and compare. More picture of your fish would help as well I agree.
