As they're still juvenile (only about 1.5 inches long not including the tail) I can't tell whether this pleco is male or female. What I can't decide, is whether it is a bristlenose or not. It DOES have some nodules on it's 'nose' but they're not bristles per sey. If the following fish IS a bristlenose, when can I expect the 'bristles' to develop? I understand that females have very few bristles compared to the guys but meh... I don't know I'll leave it for you peeps to decide!
I always thought they were darker in colour! Might be the stress of moving though. I know the pics aren't brilliant, but do your best! Certainly, it's head looks like a BN's but I just want to be double sure!
