I'm afraid the answer is a very definite Yes.
With the Danios and Tetras you are sitting with 27.5 inches of adult fish alone.

I know nothing about kribs - are these the fish you have ?

Danios & the Penguin tetras all get up to 2.5 inches each.
Those "small" algae eaters you are talking about - are they Chinese Algae Eaters ? Remeber they come in a golden or yellow variety as well.
The shocking thing is that these fish grow up to 10" and are very very aggressive kept in pairs.
If they are not CAE's, what are they ?

YES and YES

well what do you think i should do then

(i have a another tank prob 5g not that big but it has not got a light heater or anything like that)

I just replied in your other topic about Kribs.
I would think you could get away with the danios and tetras in the 18g.

The kribs need to moved to another tank of at least 20-25 gallons i think.

If they are chinese algae eaters i would take them back to your LFS.

You really need to take those CAE's back as soon as you possibly can. They shop might not even want them back - and most certainly not once they get a bit bigger.

So unfortunately you will have to sort those two out before it becomes a huge problem.

By the sounds of it you'll have to do something with the kribs as well I'm afraid.

Keeping 27 inches of fish in an 18 gallon tank (just the Danios and tetras) you are really asking a lot and you'll have to have over filtrated water and exceptional water quality and cleaning regime if they are to survive for longer than a few months.

As a beginner, you obviously don't always know these things of course, but you've done very well coming to find out more and trying to make things better.
