Is There Such Thing As "co2 Shock"?

Is there such thing as "CO2 Shock"? This person on ebay said he didnt want his plants to go into "CO2 Shock" so he is selling them.http/cgi.ebay.com/5-VALLISNERIA-AMERICAN...1QQcmdZViewItem

If there is such a thing, I haven't come across it myself. I have moved plants from a tank with 30 mg/l CO2 to a non CO2 tank many times.

The only difference I notice is the plants grow a lot slower.
