I would really love a fish that had purple or is fully purple in my 60 gallon community tank, so if anyone knows of anything that is like that, please tell me!!! i dont want a betta or guppies though, all ready have a couple betta, and i dont like guppies. Thanks!

The only purple fish I know of are some African Cichlids but they are highly agressive and not community tank fish. The others all are dyed fish, who live very short lives and the process by wich they are dyed is very cruel

I have a school of Purple Emperor Tetras that I ordered from Live Aquaria and they are beautiful. I ordered them a couple of weeks ago for my 55 gallon and they are so pretty! They are a purplish-blue but pretty just the same.

the only two I can think of is Emporer tetra Nematobrycon palmeri and Royal tetra Inpaichthys kerri which are very similar looking fish but the royals only reach 2.8cm as opposed to 4.2 for the emporer

well, you could have many of these tetras, since most of them (if not all) are schooling type, that would look amazing on a tank that size. :)
