Is There Much Difference Between T5 And T8?

I only have the one t8 marine tube in my tank

I have spare t8 tube starter units in the loft so could put another t8 in the tan or would adding one t5 tube make al lot more difference?

I;ve never had t5 so don;t know what the benefits of them are? are they that much brighter?

Yes T5s give of more Lumens per watt on T5s
