Is there anything that can live with a Betta?

Currently my new betta Bob (Bob the betta!) is on his own. He is in a 10 gallon tank with substrate and live plants, and it would be nice to put in a couple of other fish in with him. Is there anything he won't attack? I was thinking maybe a bristlenose or some otos? I like cories too, but would they harass Bob, or would Bob harass them? How about a female Krib (the other pair are brooding and are beating her up)?

Sorry, I'm really new to this betta stuff!

I've kept albino cories with my male betta successfully, he didn't even know they were there and never flared at them. But when I added some larger bronze corries, he flared at them for a day or so then got used to them. I would suggest adding the albinos since they tend to be smaller at my LFS, but who knows about yours. :dunno: Try to get the cories smaller than your betta so he doesn't feel "threatened" but not small enough for him to snack on. I have also tried a male betta with a common plec in a 10 gallon and since the plec is nocturnal and hid in his cave for most of the day, the betta never really saw him. :dunno:

Not 100% successful though I am sure it depends on the temperment of your male betta. But a PRETTY GOOD chance he will leave them alone.
