i got one today from pets at home for £10  honestly £10 i seen it on the shelf with the price tag i thought you,ve got to be kidding me but the shop is shutting the fish part down so they,ve lowered the prices, anyway ive heard of fluval before obviously as i have a fluval 4 in 1 of my tanks, but ive never heard of this  i haven,t put it in yet,i plan on doind it some time next week,so is it any good and was it really a bargain like i thought :dunno:

I bought a fluval biolife filter. I thought I was getting a bargain at the time(I paid £30 instead of the then £60 pricetag)
I have to be honest and say it was the worst spent money ever. I think these filters are useless.....I would stick with normal internal fluval filters or go with the eheim externals(great filters)
Sorry.....but hope this helps.

not happy with ours either.

it came with our tropiquarium 88 and i was quite excited about trying a wet/dry filter - and its poo.

I'll be sticking with fluval though as all my other filters are great (2+, 3+, 4+ and 304 external)

externals are better cos u got more space inside and u can put more media in it. i used to use internals and i didn't like taking it out to clean it and the externals u jus unplug no need to go into the tank (less stress) simple and easy.

I used to sell filter and i've only sold one biolife.

the internal / external debate still has me on the fence.

OK external is great for media and also tank asetics. however, i have open plan tank stands and nowhere to hide an external (the 304 is just sitting next to the 50gal at the moment, hidden by a foot poof)

internals are a simple solution with no risk of leaks etc...
