Does my female guppy look pregnant? I assure you that her gravid spot is VERY dark, i just couldn't snap a photo of her belly and the spot. If you believe she is pregnant, do you have any idea how far along she might be or a guess of some sort. She isn't bloated from being overfed,

Well she is pregnant. I would guess maybe 20-25 days in. Anywhere from a few days to a week or two until birth. It depends on the age.

I just recently purchased her, I couldn't even guess on how old she is. Thanks for your response this late at night!

Did you get her from a big pet store (Petco, etc..)? If you did she is more than defiantly pregnant, pet stores won't separate the male from female, because of money. and yes, I am up late. Lol.

I did buy her from PetSmart but she was housed with Zebra Danios when I got her. The males were in separate tanks

The chances are if a female livebearer looks pregnant.... she almost certainly is. :)

When I do go to the larger chain pet-stores, the guppies will be separated, but in some cases there will be stray males in the tank, and usually when the fish are being imported in to these places they will be in all together.

I have begun to notice another one who's belly is slightly smaller than this one and her gravid spot is darkening....gonna be raining fry soon

are you planning on keeping the fry or are you gonna do it natural

Idk if this is what you mean by natural but i plan on keeping her in the main tank and if the fry survive i will feed them the necessary food but if they don't they don't. I will keep any fry that do survive and grow larger

yea thats what i meant its probaly the best way to go because you get some fry but your not overpopulated

id say your looking at 3-7 days, the back of her just needs to drop a little more to fully square off.
Watch for change in behaviour like dwelling near the heater, or near corners of the tank, been unsociable and static in movement a lot.
You may also notice her hanging around near a internal filter (if you have one) for some reason they do tend to do this.

3-7 days into pregnancy? or until she gives birth? i have noticed her secluding herself from the rest of the guppies already by staying in the top right corner of the tank
