I seem to get this error:

There was an error processing the request. Please go back and try again, or contact an administrator for assistance.
connection to localhost:3312 failed

I hope i'm not alone on this ;) (well for my sake anyway)

not just you...

Me too.....annoying when you actually want to use it for something useful!!

Yup.. resorting to googling the forum..

Don't forget in the advanced search on google you can limit the search to a particular domain i.e. fishforums.net.

That should help until it works again, but obviously its harder to limit the search to a part of the forum which i find useful.

Squid.

Aha! Good bit of advice - I didn't know you could do that in Google!

To be honest, I'm at work and should be doing something productive rather than reading about peat moss!!!!

Yip. It's happening to me too.

Mods, can we have search fixed please?

BTT

Already reported to William - watch this space :good:

Any update/ETA? You never know how much you miss something until you really want to use it. (In other words, I've been eagerly trying to use search the last few days.)

arggh I thought it was just me when I was thwarted in my search for titanic plecs

I always use the search and my mum bought me a new tank and a new bunch of cichlids,
needed to research them and aaaah search wouldnt work!!

As stated above it has been reported, only Will can do anything about this.

You can use google to search the boards here. Go to Google and to the right of where you normally enter your search string, click on "Advanced Search". Fill in your search terms in the blue boxes at the top then go about half way down the page to where it says "Domain". Make sure the box next to domain says "Only" and then enter "fishforums.net" (without the quotes), in the box to the right of Domain. Then click on Search.
