I have a tetra that has a huge belly, I can't see any black dots so I am not sure whether it is I'll or pregnant? Can anybody with more of an idea have a look at the pictures and advise please.

Don't suppose you've noticed whether it's been going to the toilet 💩 as it could be constipation. But I hope it is gravid and about to lay!

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Tetras don't get the black gravid spot near their bum. That is a livebearer thing and mostly seen in guppies and platies.

How long has the fish been fat like that for?
Did it get fat quickly (in a few days), or slowly over a month or more?

Is the fish eating?
What does the fish's poop look like?

If the fish is eating well and doing normal coloured poop, it is probably full of eggs. If the fish has stopped eating and does a stringy white poop, it has an internal problem and should be euthanised.
