I think this is a tad on the overstocked side, but there isn't really much I can do about it. I took two fish from somebody who was moving overseas just because there was no one else to take 'em, and I didn't want to see them die.

I have a six gal tank with a filter and all, currently in it I have:

1 Male Betta
2 Mystery Snails
2 Zebra Danios (the fish I took)

They've all been together for a week and so far no problems. The betta chases the smaller fish around once and a while for a few seconds, but the danios seem to be too fast for him to really catch, and they leave the betta alone as well.

doesnt seem overstocked to me, but the male betta might not be thrilled with the current the filter makes
Actually I've had the Betta in this tank for over 6 months and he doesn't seem to mind the current at all. Yet I do have some settings on my filter and I have it set to the lowest possible. He still manages to make his bubblenest in the far corner of the tank away from the filter, and there's a corner where he can stay still in my plants.
