Is my swordtail preganant???

most likely. I'd put her in you breeding basket right away if you want too keep the babies. Some times I have waited too long to but the female in (because she doesn't like it and I didn't want to put her in until the last day) and have lost all the fri. :-(

If you have a male and a female and the male is older that 3 months and the female is older than 2 she will be pregnant. Live bearer life is one giant orgy and the male is not being a good dad hes just gettin his swerve thang on (he will actualy eat the fry you know) she is probably full of fry unless he scales are sticking out then you have a problem. asuming that that is not the case then you need to keep a realy close eye on her and as soon as she starts droping fry toss her into the box. If you put her in too early she will get stressed out and if you take too much time the babys will be droped in the tank and eaten I personaly always kept my guppys in a densely planted aquarium so that they could just drop fry when they pleased.
