Is My Red Wag Platy Pregnant?

I already posted a first one this is the second with better close up pictures. I have a platy and i was suppose to have gotten a male but i think i have a female. Is it pregnant or just fat??? and is it a boy or girl???

I cant really tell. Do you have a full on side view? Im looking for the shape of the belly, and also the shape of the fin on the underbelly.
If its female it probably is pregnant.

Probably true. The angle the pictures are taken from hides a lot.

How does the anal fin of this fish compare with the pics I posted in the other topic you started?

If you have a female in with your males, she's most likely pregnant..

That is a female fish but looking at her closely her scales appear to be raised which is an indication of dropsy, I have never really been successful in treating this so I won't go into treatments but if she has it most of the time it is fatal, I hope I am wrong.
