Is My Pygmy Cory Lonely?

I bought 2 pygmy corys about 3 weeks until 1 of them died after a week. I've read that they are meant to be in school's, however the 1 that's left is swimming about and eating off the bottom and seems fine. Do I need to buy him a friend, or will he be fine? Thanks

corys are shoaling fish and do best in groups. i would get atleast 3 more depending on the tank size and stock maby more.

hi, they definitely need to be in groups. i would say 6 as an absolute minimum. looking at your stocking in your sig, i think that you need to change it. the swordtails need a bigger tank, as does the sucking loach, which will get big and aggressive, and the mollies may need a bigger tank depending on species.
