Hello Everyone,

I have notice that my BN pleco become a bit agressive, especially during the feeding time. He attacks the fidler crab, chases loaches and jump on angels when they are down at the bottom picking up the fallen food.
He looks healthy, but I did notice some kind of elastic gel/slime like white color stuff on his gills. Especially noticable when he sticks/spreads them out when breathing deep if I can say that.
I tried to take a picture, but its not much showing.
The water stats are fine, I did have an issue with the border line high nitrates (80), but lowered it with PRIME to 40.

Thanks beforehand for the help.

I don't know what youare talking about with the white slime. But sticking out the spikes behind the gills is normal. He sounds healthy to me. A sick pleco would not fight for food .

Thanks everyone for your replies, but I think there is something wrong with him. Just a few minutes I checked him up and he has some spots of discoloration and tiny white bubbles stuck to him. Please look at the picture. White spots are the bubbles.
