Is My Platy Pregnant?

Just wondering if my platy looks pregnant to anyone else? I don't know if the darker bit on her stomach is a gravid spot since I'm new to this. What does everyone think? Thanks

it looks like it. does she have black spots in the back of her belly?

I can't really see any to be honest. I've tried for ages to get a decent picture but she won't stay still long enough lol.

hmmm... sometimes with my platy the spots are there one minute than gone the next.

it's the fry's eyes.

it does look very fat though.

Yes. She certainly is. She may not have them for awhile. She will be closer to birth when her belly becomes more transparent and u see eyes. Platies have the ability to store sperm so that they can give birth several times after mating only once. Congrats! I love the sunset variety. But the yellow seems to be a recessive trait and seems to breed out after a generation or two of mixing varieties of platy
