Is she pregnant, she's a variatus platy??

Is there a male in there? If so, yes. If not, was she kept with males in the past 2 months? If so, yes. If not, no.

yes, if she has been in a tank with a male then, yes she is probably pregnant. and she looks that way based on the photos

Well I bought 2 females yesterday and they were in a tank with other males

How far along would you say she is??

I would say she is, it's also the first time I've seen a platy with a gravid spot so I would say she has a week or a bit longer left

First batch can have anywhere between 20-40 second can be 30-60 then it goes 50-100 or more but a lot may die in first batches

No problem that's an average your platy may have more or may have less it's unpredictable she may have had a drop before you brought her
