Hi everyone, recently set up a 105L or 28 US gallon planted tank with fluval strat as a base layer with aquarium sand on top with 6 or so various plants and a driftwood centrepiece. I cycled the tank for 10 days atleast before adding 4 mollies, waiting a week and adding 6 flame tetras and three guppies. I then waited another week and added two Kuhli loaches. I heat my tank at 26 degrees Celsius 24/7 and keep the light on for around 10 hours each day. My fish are fed twice a day with flakes and a small German food for my loaches.
I’ve noticed one of my balloon male mollies chasing flump my white molly and vice versa, not enough to stress either out though. I saw them spinning in a circle once which I presume is a mating dance? Or a display of dominance between two males.
Sorry for the long introduction, just wanted to provide some information as this is my first tropical tank. I have notice my white molly’s stomach becoming larger and wondered if (she?) was pregnant or has an Illness.. if she is pregnant, could anyone please inform me how far along she may be, please get back to me asap!!
