Is My Filter Broken?

i looked in the motor part of my filter and the thing that spins around with the 3 sticky out things - one of the 3 pointy things has some how snapped off - the water still flows ok but does this effect anything?

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, Eheim commercial!

The impeller needs to be replaced including the axle. Running with one blade missing will put the armature out of round and will also damage the axle. You should do this ASAP.

i possibly have a eheim 2237.

i think though i have the one below the top one. is this 2236/2237? is there anyway to find out?

height though is like 13.5 inches
