Is my Double tailed betta coming out with fin rot or white scales??? Please help

Im a little worried that my betta is coming out with white scale.. Please could you have a look and advise.

The scales 3 scales seem transparent at an angle.. I purchased a few days ago, shop assistant said was fine when I queried it.

The betta looks OK in the photos, but you can see it in the flesh. It is possible the scales were damaged when the fish was netted. Keep a close eye on it, and let us know if it starts to look worse.
