I got him from my local fish store two days ago and noticed white spots on his head and mouth. The tips of his fins are also discolored. I think it might be fungus or columnaris. Because I have researched that columnaris is contagious I have isolated him in a bucket and am treating him with aquarium salt. Any ideas of what he has?

You can kinda see the blotches better with these.I can’t really get a better photo then the ones I have
If this betta came with this, then it might be just the colouring of the betta(DON'T QUOTE ME ON THIS I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE WITH DISEASES THIS IS JUST ME TALKING), but if it started changing colours then it might be a disease. Again, other members will know more than I do.You can kinda see the blotches better with these.
I impulsed bought it because he was red and I didn’t see his face well through the cupWhy did you buy this fish?
