Is my ADF going to die??

I've had my ADF for a year and half and in the past month his behaviour has really changed. He is getting thinner and doesn't want to take his bloodworms Today I tried feeding him but he kept swimming away..I tried it 3 times with the bloodworm right in front of his face but he just wasn't interested He's been spending a lot of time at the surface lately just slowly swimming around then resting.

It also looks like his skin is coming off...but I don't think he's shedding...

I'm not even sure how old ADF's live for?? Maybe it's just old age?

Poor little guy...I've had him for such a long time it'll be really sad if he dies

Yep, as cute and interesting as ADFs are, their achilles heel is their relatively short lifespan compared to other amphibs. At least you gave yours a nice life for a year and a half - I know many people whose frogs died long before that kind of age.
