to house a male betta with 4 female betta's?

iv heard so many ppl sayin ' u shouldnt put a male in with the females they will kill each other /attack each other'

is this true?

i mean iv had these 5 together now for about 5+ weeks and they seem fine, no nippin an he aint even blowin bubble nests (because im guessin the filtration?)

so is it so wrong?

my male gets on fine with the 4 females he is with, within my tank.

no nipping and the females all have there own personality.

Bleu as he is named spend most of his time lounging around and occasionally hovering next to the ABF - Or B.F.G as he is called.

All the females have enough room and they have theie own territory.

Pastel - the Barnacle and Surrounding.
Blue Female Half Moon - the Pots
Voilet Crown Tail - Female - The right corner
Chocolate/Red/Blue Plakat - Female - Biggest one, whole tank.

If the conditions and mix of fish are right then whats to stop you keeping them.
They have very funny characters.

My Fave is the Pastel. She is sooo tiny - that she can fit in the barnacles and sleeps inside them, in the morning she peeks out.

it depends on the fish and there temperament.
