Is it possible to have a snail population in a community tank full of Barbs and clown loaches. The snails i added to my tank did not survive long.. RIP ickle snails.

I've never been able to get rid of wretched snails. Get hold of some Malaysian Trumpet Snails. Most of the time they live in the sand, but at night thousands of the damn things swarm over the tanks. Even the most ardent snail fancying Botias sadly can't keep up with them.

What else will eat snails?

My kribensis (Pelvicachromis Pulcher) eat snails. I have 7 Juvies in my 40g community and they keep the population down almost as much as a Loach would.
