Martha's tank used to be marine. no problem.
  1. Empty the tank and discard the substrate and rocks.
  2. Rinse the tank very thoroughly with clean water.
  3. Rinse it very thoroughly again
  4. ... and again
  5. ... and again
  6. ... and again
  7. Do the same with the heater and filter and discard the media.
  8. Set up the tank for freshwater.
There may be some salt that will bleed from the silicon sealant in the tank for a while, but once diluted into a tankful of water it's negliable unless you are keeping fish that are super-sensitive to salt such as freshwater rays.

Absolutely.
Martha is a Fahaka Pufferfish tetraodon lineatus from the big rivers of Africa.
Pure freshwater.
