My tank is going through the cycling process for 6 day now, but haven't got a nitrite spike yet! I've follow the intruction for fishless cycle and was thinking if it's okay to add the same amount of ammonia twice a day? or is it best to go with the original reciepe? Thanks a lot.

Yep. Follow the instructions and don't rush it. All will work out well and be worth the wait in the end!

Stick with the target of 5ppm of ammonia and only add more to keep it at this level. Going above this will only cause the cycle to go LONGER.
TRUE!!!
I tried (TRIED) a fishless cycle with ammonia and thought "hmmm,a little more ammonia can't hurt" it took 3 weeks of skyrocket high readings before I finally gave up....dumped it out and filled it with water from one of my established tanks

My 50g finished cycled yesterday(I can go and buy the fish today B) ) it took 15 days, It would of taken allot longer if I hadn’t of added gravel out of an established tank, 1 filter sponge and a 30% w/c....I put well to much ammonia in at one point..It was off that scale, and the scale goes up to 7ppm!
