Been looking at a v2 120 nano skimmer for me tank. Only thing ime worried about is that ive heard they make a gargeling noise and the tank is in my room so ime just asking if it would do any harm if i turned it off at say 9 at night and come back on at 7 the next morning???

oops just knowtised i messed up the post title was ment to say not run it 24 hours a day.......so was ur answering yes to not running it 24 hours a day??

ah rite thats kool then.

i guess 12 hours a day skimming is lots better than 0 hours a day skimming. i guess i know what ime buying at the weekend then

let us know how you get on with the skimmer as saw one the other day and they are tiny! but dont know snyone who has tried them out so a quick thumbs up or down would b good :good:

thats the only thing ime concerned about is the fact its so small weather its upto the job......they say it can skim upto a 120 litre tank an mine is a 96 so in theory should work.......the larger skimmers they make are all good so shouldnt see why this 1 wont be gd aswell.

Well i brought the v2 120 nano skimmer from ebay today for £47.50 including p&p (had a £5 off postage voucher from ebay though)

Been reading some good review on them aswell.....people have been sayin they do as gooder job as the larger v2 skimmers in comparison as to how much waste they remove on the size of the tank if that makes any sence.

will write up a little review when i have it up and running.
