I got a 10g tank which i'm planning to upgrade very soon. I've got 2 albinos and 1 panda, and i've got 3 peppered fry waiting to join them, would they be happy? or would u advice on getting 1 more albino 2 more pandas. I'm planning to get at least a 20g tank to upgrade to.

i have 4 different kinds of corys and it always seems that the same "flavors" like to hang out together. the bronze with the bronze and the albinos with the albinos. but on the other hand usualy they dont mind being around the other corys not like themselves. they get alog with all of them.

Hi allaboutthefish :)

Most kinds of corys enjoy the company of all the other species, but do best when they have at least a few of their own kind to spend some special time with. You will see them break away from the mixed group and play among themselves.

This is especially important for the pandas. I've tried keeping them in large mixed communities, but found they do best by themselves or with a few of the dwarf species. In the community tank they even stopped spawning, but started again when I set them up in their own tank.

I like your plan to increase the number of each species you have to at least 3. Are you planning to have a corys only tank? If so, you will love it! :D
