Title says it all really, I was just wondering if it would be ok to just feed my fish on daphnia, bloodworms (if I can catch them) and mosquito larva and leave out feeding pellets as I have a whole ton in my pond which now are breeding like mad as it is getting warmer! Or do my fish need the pellets also in their diet?

last i recalled in the wild no one feeds pellets

if your fish were to live off of live foods for the rest of thier life they would actually probably be happier.

simple answer nope wont hurt a bit

They'll be fine without pellets! :good: My bettas haven't had pellets in moooonths! But they're the healthiest I've seen in a long time.

Ok thanks I just wanted to be sure that it was ok to just feed them on the live stuff and not give them any processed foods for a while! :D
