ok thanks. is there a way to tell if it is or not, i buy mine from petco, and im confused on whether its cured or not. It comes from a tank full of rock and water.

Pull a piece out of the tank and smell it. If it smells like rot and death, its not cured. If it smells like fresh ocean, its cured.
