Is It A Good Idea To Use This...........

You would have to check the back of the container for warnings (to make sure it is safe to spray around animals). I've always used tape to stick on my backgrounds, but if you have the spray and it won't harm the fish, use it :)

Condensation and sticky tape don't mix. Very hard to attach background without air bubbles and it doesn't last all that long before it goes weird and water creeps down between the glass and the backing.

Thanks. I'm just looking for an alternative to tape because i've always had trouble with it.

I know what you mean I use blue tac now as if you use big enough blobs it keeps the back ground at a distance from the glaa that stops all the bubbling and stuff!

i used vaseline to stick them on mine after trying tape. if you use vaseline, the background actually looks like it's on thr front of the glass, not the back. it takes a while to get the bubbles smoothed out. anyway, that worked well for me. ymmv

Definately, without a doubt, Vaseline.

When i first heard about using vaseline i thought, no way. But its amazing how it actually works!

Just Go For It!

I've just done it on reading these posts and it works! Had to use a fish slice to get behind the tank to press out the air pockets, but a reallly good tip. 'Er indoors nagged me for nicking the vaseline off her dressing table, though!

Good Luck

:D
