Hi all,
I was looking for some advice, I bought some mopani wood for my new tank but once I got it home I noticed that the bottom of the wood is hollow and very rough inside and leads up to a small hole, I love the idea of my Crowntail Betta having a hiding spot but I’m worried that the roughness might tear his fins and also that he might get stuck in the hole, can anyone advise if this is likely? If so what could I use to block it off slightly, could I rub down inside and plug a Marimo moss ball in the hole? Or maybe put a java fern through the hole, the roots would be in darkness? I’ll attach pictures, all advice is much appreciated.
