Is Arnie Looking Better?!

Hey,

Some of you may have read in another thread that my betta Arnie hadn't been looking too well and wasn't eating. Well, today was the first day he actually came out of his pot to eat! I managed to get some pictures!lol I dont know what any of you think, but it looks as though he's getting better I hadn't got any pictures of him when he was ill but his body was REALLY pale, almost white - Thats almost back to normal now! His fins still look a bit droopy but other than that i think he's ok... Poor Arnie...

Anyway, shall post a few pictures, just to see if any of you guys think im worrying over nothing (as usual!!) If you have any suggestions of what i should do to cheer him up a bit please tell me!

For anyone who hasn't seen Arnie's picture before, here's one of him before he started looking sick... I think his colours nearly back, right? He just doesn't look quite so happy!! Any suggestions for how i can make him look pretty again?! lol

Poor Arnie! I'm glad he's getting better though! It's always makes me feel better when my fishies get well also! No more worrying as much...

Have you been giving him a varying diet?

may i ask!how many gallons do u need 4 2 cories and a betta

Tekknocolor - He has Hikari Bio-Gold daily, as well as frozen bloodworms maybe once or twice a week, and he sometimes tries to eat the cories algae wafers!lol I think that's ok... He'd been on that (minus the wafers!!) for about 4 months and been fine until now. Does that sound like a varied enough diet for him?

Chatterbox - I keep him in a 3.5 gallon tank and he seems moe than happy in that! Though he MAY be having my ten gallon when i move my other fish out of there - i was going to divide it but i think its the wrong shape!!lol
I think he'll be even happier with a ten gal to himself!

Thank You! He is adorable - looks kinda like a bulldog though... I think its the scar on his mouth that does it! lol Hopefully he should be back to normal in a few days!!
